graduated from RISD in 2013. She moved to North Carolina to pursue her career as a Textile Designer. After moving to Charlotte she found a community of potters at Clayworks, where she is a studio artist. In her ceramic work, Jackie uses a combination of wheel throwing, handbuilding, and sculpture techniques to give each piece a unique personality. Jackie’s work plays with the concept of art versus craft, by incorporating hand painting and sculpture into functional ceramic pieces.
